In less than two years, Carlsbad Cleanup Crew, or C3 Club for short, has grown from a single person to over sixty dedicated members, as well as a sister club from El Camino High School in Oceanside, CA.

Together, we've removed over 4,000 lbs of trash off our local streets, started two action campaigns, and advocated for sustainable change in the community.

Our team means many different things for our many different attendees. For some, it is an opportunity to create and present webinars on the environmental topics they’re passionate about. For others, it’s a means of involving themselves in environmental activism and policy advocacy.

Carlsbad Cleanup Crew was established by students from Carlsbad High School. In one direction, our school is a mere ten minute bike ride from pristine beaches and lagoons. In the other, it is a ten minute drive from Mount Calavera, an extinct volcano wrapped around heavily biodiverse wildlife, hiking trails, and local farms.
With such a beautiful community surrounding us, our members remain motivated to help preserve our coastal environment.
However, there is beauty in any and all communities. By making this project, we hope to inspire you to appreciate the beauty of your own natural surroundings and to start conservation efforts of your own.
